Donations
The Museum welcomes monetary donations, however small. They are the lifeblood on which the Museum depends for its financial wellbeing. If you’d like to make a one-off donation to the museum, you can do so on our JustGiving page.
If you would prefer to make regular donations, you should consider becoming a Friend of the Museum.
Gifting Items to the Museum Collection
The Museum is always pleased to receive appropriate items for the Museum collection.
While we do our best to take on any items of relevance, we may have to refuse to accept items which are of less relevance to the museum, or which we are unable to display, store or care for.
We are interested in hearing about relevant objects, medals, documents, photographs, books, clothing and material with a connection to The Rifles, The Royal Green Jackets, and and its antecedent, associated and affiliated regiments. Please note that if you have a query about a donation related to other forming regiments of the Rifles, you should contact the relevant museum directly.
If you have a likely item or items of interest to the Museum, or think you may have, and would be happy to give the item(s) to the Museum, please e-mail the Curator or telephone 01962 828549. Please get in touch before you bring any items to the museum. We cannot accept donations which have not been agreed upon beforehand.
Please do not bring bladed weapons to the museum for donation, as we will be unable to accept them.
