The museum has a small and dedicated team of full-time staff working on-site in Winchester.

Curator

Christine has been working in the Museum since 2001 and has been local to Hampshire her whole life. She studied art and art history, which remains her particular area of interest.

Assistant Curator

Meg studied Medieval History and then undertook a Masters in Cultural Heritage & Resource Management. She’s worked at the Museum for 3 years, and has been working the heritage sector for 5.

Michael Robinson

Michael Robinson

Museum Assistant

Michael studied history and recently obtained an MPhil in Cultural Heritage. He previously worked as a freelance Museum Researcher.

Becs Watson

Comms & Marketing Manager

Becs started their marketing career at an academic publisher specialising in archaeology, ancient history & military history before moving to the museum sector.

Our team of passionate volunteers are vital to the continued running of the museum.

Guide & School Visits

Gary has been volunteering at the Museum for 8 years. He is a 95th Rifles re-enactor, and has an interest in military history which led him to his volunteering role.

Pete has been volunteering at the Museum for over 10 years. He also volunteers cleaning military graves.

Roger Forder

Roger joined the volunteer team in July 2024. He is a Winchester local, and joined 1st Green Jackets in 1962.

Ken Gray

Ken Gray

Front of House & Security

Ken retired as the Curator of the Museum in 2009, and acted as part-time Archivist of the Museum until 2024 when he became a volunteer. He has been involved with the Regiment, serving and working at the Museum, for 60 years.

Gerald Moulin

Gerald Moulin

Front of House

Gerald has been volunteering at the Museum for 8 years. He has a keen interest in painting miniature military models, especially of regiments relating to the Museum.
